Plan Reviews
You might consider having a knowledgeable civil engineer review your airport project plans and specifications from a 3rd person’s perspective to:
Reduce unnecessary impacts to the operations at your airport due to a lack of proper construction phasing.
Reduce constructability conflicts where contractors will likely seek project change orders.
Provide staff support when your airport does not have the personnel or the time that it takes to properly review a set of plans and specs.
* Check with your FAA Airport District Office (ADO) to determine whether they will allow you to hire an independent civil engineer as a reimbursable administrative line item expense!
